Zardari emphasized that nuclear safety requires consistent discipline and strong oversight due to potential long-term harm from negligence or hostile actions at nuclear installations. For citizens, such incidents can lead to agricultural land becoming unsafe, food and water supplies being compromised, and lasting health issues.
