Raja emphasized the need for lasting peace in the region, stating that Pakistan has been presented with a significant opportunity. He asserted that pursuing reconciliation is a national responsibility and criticized the government for increasing petrol prices, claiming that countries like India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka have not raised fuel prices to the same extent.

The decision to cancel the April 9 rally was appropriate, Raja stated, distancing himself from remarks made by Aleema Khan. He added that the founder of PTI, Imran Khan, had endorsed the cancellation.

Raja explained that the decision was taken after deliberations within the party’s political committee and reiterated his rejection of allegations regarding facilitating the government. Leaders such as Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Raja Nasir Abbas also supported the decision to call off the rally, he added.
