Punjab Government Launches Online Cattle Markets

In a bid to enhance convenience for citizens ahead of Eidul Azha, the Punjab government has introduced online cattle markets, revolutionizing the process of purchasing sacrificial animals.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif unveiled the initiative, emphasizing its goal to alleviate public inconvenience, particularly during the sweltering summer months.

The online platforms will complement traditional cattle markets, offering buyers a wider array of choices. CM Sharif has directed authorities to ensure competitive pricing and a diverse selection of animals on the digital platforms.

Developed by the Punjab Cattle Company, a dedicated app facilitates the process, allowing vendors to showcase their animals through uploaded images. Prospective buyers can browse the app, select their desired animal, and complete transactions securely through online payment methods.
