Russian President Vladimir Putin extends Eidul Fitr greetings to Muslims across the country. The festival marks the end of Ramazan, a month-long period that has long embodied values such as moral integrity, compassion, and empathy.

In his message, Putin highlighted the deep-rooted traditions of Russian Muslims, who celebrate this joyous occasion with their families and communities in a meaningful way. He noted that charitable, cultural, educational, and children-focused activities have become an integral part of Ramazan celebrations.

Putin also praised Muslim organizations for their role in strengthening family structures, nurturing the younger generation, and promoting social harmony. These groups actively engage in constructive dialogue with government and social institutions and participate in various patriotic, educational, and humanitarian initiatives.

Special recognition was given to Muslims serving alongside their colleagues in defense of Russia’s freedom and sovereignty, as well as those supporting the families of such personnel. Putin concluded his message by wishing the Muslim community in Russia health, success, and prosperity, underscoring the nation’s respect for its diverse cultural and religious heritage.
