Quetta: Balochistan Inspector General of Police, Muhammad Tahir, has praised provincial police personnel for their success in arresting 497 proclaimed offenders over a 40-day special campaign against criminals wanted for murder, attempted murder, robberies, and kidnapping for ransom.
The IGP announced cash rewards and CC-1 certificates for officers from Kachhi, Hub, Quetta, Sibi, and Kohlu and Ziarat districts. At a meeting to review the province’s law and order situation, Tahir expressed satisfaction with police performance, noting that 587 offenders were apprehended last year compared to 497 during this campaign.
Tahir also announced cash awards for districts demonstrating good performance during the campaign.
