Maulana Bashir Farooqi, founder and chairman of Saylani Welfare International Trust, has announced a personal reward of Rs 2.5 million each for two Pakistan Air Force (PAF) pilots in recognition of their bravery during a recent military operation against India.

The announcement was made during a press conference at the Karachi Press Club. Praising Pakistan’s armed forces for their “historic victory” against Indian forces, Maulana Farooqi said the successful operation was a result of divine support and the unwavering resolve of the nation’s defenders.

“Two nuclear powers stood face to face, but by the grace of Allah, our prayers and our soldiers’ determination led us to victory,” he said. Maulana Farooqi shared that before the operation, Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir performed the Fajr prayer, recited the Quran, and prayed for success.

He recounted how two PAF pilots, fully aware of the risks involved, executed their mission with remarkable precision. “They struck like falcons and shattered the enemy with unmatched courage,” he added. The Saylani chief said the entire world, including Britain, was stunned by the precision and strength demonstrated by Pakistan’s military. “The defense of Pakistan is in resolute hands. Our armed forces have dealt a heavy blow to the Modi-led Indian government,” he said. Reaffirming his admiration for the pilots, whom he called “the nation’s falcons,” Maulana Farooqi stated, “We are proud of them. This reward is a humble gesture from me and my colleagues in recognition of their service and sacrifice.”

The Rs 5 million cash reward, he clarified, will be given from personal funds, not organizational donations.
