A trial for an honor killing has shifted from district court to anti-terrorism court following police’s addition of charges under Pakistan’s Anti-Terrorism Act. The case involves Sidra Arab, killed on July 16, 2025, by a jirga in Rawalpindi.

The fresh challan was submitted to the court, which assigned investigation duties to Inspector Tariq Gondal. With Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act and Section 11-W of the West Pakistan Act added to the case, it was formally moved to the ATC.
