Sindh Governor Announces Free Scholarships for Talented Students

Governor of Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori, announced on Monday the provision of free scholarships for talented students in the province who aspire to study abroad.

A special cell has been established at the Governor’s House to support students interested in this scholarship program.

Governor Tessori stated that students from Sindh can apply based on merit, and those selected will be sent abroad for their education. He acknowledged the country’s economic challenges and the divisions along political, linguistic, and sectarian lines.

The Governor’s House is open to everyone, and efforts are being made to address the issues faced by the people,” Tessori said. Over the past 20 months, he has reformed the system at the Governor’s House, with 2.2 million people visiting, which is now open 24/7.

Additionally, Tessori mentioned the construction of a gate for the IT University by demolishing a portion of the Governor’s House wall, indicating his commitment to improving education infrastructure and accessibility.
