A high-level meeting of the Cabinet Sub-Committee on Finance, chaired by Sindh Provincial Ministers for Energy Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and Local Government Saeed Ghani, reviewed the financial matters of various departments, including K-Electric’s liabilities.
During the meeting, it was unanimously decided to clear the water and electricity dues of the Labor Department’s office located in the State Life Building.
Additionally, the committee approved the installation of electricity meters in the residential colonies of all government institutions. Key approvals were also given for salary dues of former employees of the Larkana Development Authority, as well as funds for the construction of the Malir River Bridge and water courses for the Agriculture Department.
In another decision, a Chief Engineer will be recruited to handle legal affairs for the Building Department.
