Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon announced that all educational institutions across the province will resume physical classes from April 1. This decision comes amid ongoing austerity measures, including fuel cuts and energy-saving initiatives aimed at managing global fuel prices due to regional tensions.

Educational institutions had been closed for two weeks from March 16-31 for curriculum-related activities under these austerity measures. The government also reduced the use of official vehicles by half and provincial ministers decided to forego their salaries and allowances in April, May, and June.
