In a recent update, South Korea has revamped its visa application process for Pakistani nationals, introducing a more hands-on approach. Now, all applicants must personally submit essential documents, including a valid passport, a duly filled application form, and a recent passport-sized color photograph.

For those applying for a short-term South Korea Visit Visa, specific documentation related to the purpose of the visit, such as family reunions, meetings, conferences, and more, is mandatory.

One of the notable changes is the requirement for original and notarized invitation papers, coupled with a guarantee paper. The inviter must furnish details regarding the purpose of the invitation, business background, and any relevant activities.

Pakistani invitees, on the other hand, are now obligated to provide documents like a job certification, income details, a recommendation letter, and bank statements for the preceding six months. Additional documents, such as marriage certificates and family registration certificates, may also be necessary.
