The United States has deported over 7,000 undocumented migrants, including a few Pakistani nationals, as part of a crackdown on illegal immigration under President Donald Trump’s administration.

According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), 7,300 individuals were deported within the first week of the policy’s enforcement, fulfilling a key campaign promise. The crackdown primarily targeted violent offenders and those staying illegally in the US.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) carried out operations in several major cities, including Chicago, Seattle, Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles, and New Orleans. In Chicago, six federal agencies collaborated to arrest individuals deemed a potential threat.

Officials confirmed that fewer than 10 Pakistani nationals were among those arrested, with some detained for crossing the border illegally. DHS emphasized that the law enforcement operations were conducted to ensure public safety.
