France, Germany, and Japan Lead Global Passport Power Rankings With Pakistan Among the Least Ranking

Henley & Partners, in collaboration with the International Air Transport Association, has unveiled the latest edition of the Passport Index, shedding light on the global travel access hierarchy.

Topping the list are France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Singapore, and Spain, whose citizens enjoy visa-free access to a remarkable 194 destinations, offering unparalleled mobility and ease of travel.

Following closely behind are Finland, South Korea, and Sweden, with access to 193 locations, providing their residents with diverse travel opportunities and cultural experiences.

Austria, Denmark, Ireland, and the Netherlands secure third place on the podium, granting their passport holders entry to 192 destinations and fostering a spirit of exploration and connectivity.

The rankings extend to other countries prioritizing global connections, including the United States, Canada, Greece, Switzerland, and New Zealand, each offering abundant travel options to their citizens.

Conversely, states such as Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, and Pakistan rank among the least accessible, with passport holders enjoying entry to only 34 countries without requiring a visa or with one upon arrival.
