Governor Sindh Announces Free Plots for Karachiites

Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori shared a significant announcement, bringing joy to residents renting homes in Karachi for the past thirty years. Speaking from Gulistan-e-Jauhar, he revealed plans to allocate sizable plots to tenants, extending the initiative to encompass an additional 25,000 plots.

During his interaction with the media, Kamran Khan Tessori expressed having engaged with various housing societies in Karachi and Sindh. In the first phase, 600 plots would be granted to tenants, primarily from Gulistan-e-Jauhar. The scheme is valid for tenants on rent since 30 years.

In response to the enthusiastic reception during his market visits, Governor Tessori addressed the public’s concerns. He highlighted that despite regular market visits, the people of Jauhar Market had not questioned the initiative. He pledged personal involvement in resolving public issues and assured the community of his commitment to addressing their concerns.

Emphasizing the need for economic opportunities, Governor Tessori recognized the challenges faced by educated youth in the province, calling for government intervention to provide employment opportunities. He pledged to personally address the concerns of the province’s youth, acknowledging the struggles of educated individuals who remain unemployed even after acquiring a solid education.

Touching upon healthcare, Governor Tessori announced a significant development. With the Chief Minister’s signature, individuals in Karachi would be eligible for free medical treatment worth Rs. 10 lakh. He urged the public to inquire if they did not receive the necessary paperwork for this initiative.

Addressing concerns of motorcycle theft, Governor Tessori announced that if a motorcycle is stolen Governor House would then provide a motorcycle to the affected individual. This effort aims to combat motorcycle theft, with the provision of three motorcycles every three months to victims. In the first phase, 1,700 individuals affected by motorcycle theft will benefit from this initiative.
